two-day half-price shiny sale

I haven't moved my shiny sales to Dreamwidth yet, but it'll be happening. For now, though, you can find the half-price sale here. And half-price makes up a little for the horrendous things that have happened to postage prices from the US lately.

(Also, if the sale goes well, I'll have the money to visit several of my favorite people who are enticing me to Dreamwidth. Yay!)

There are two good places to see the shinies right now. One is the grand list of everything I've made which has already gone out into the world (which is very safe to browse because everything on it is sold). That's here.

The other is the list of All Current Shinies, which is here.

I'm going to experiment with doing so, though I have to think carefully so that I don't have too many different places to update. Right now, for instance, selling a piece means that I update six different things: the All Current Shinies template, the All Current Shinies post itself, the New Shinies template where the piece was originally offered, the New Shinies post itself, the List of Sold Shinies template, and the List of Sold Shinies post itself. The latter two are here on Dreamwidth already, so that wouldn't change, but mirroring it would add four more places to update -- well, hmm, actually two, because I could probably update from the same template for both LJ and Dreamwidth, as I don't think the HTML varies.

Hmm. That makes a difference. OK, then, I will try it out, come the next New Shinies post. (They'll still be in both places, as 90% of my income comes through the postings over there, but having them here as well would be a great goodness.)
